My friend Caroline Bannock wanted me to come up with something that Bournemouth University could send out as an invitation for their Screenwriting MA Graduation Show. The in-house designers needed a couple of months, but this was the real (harrumph) world and could she see something in a week or so? Perhaps tomorrow?
Well Studland isn't that far away, so I put all these characters to work as frantic student screenwriters and gave them, with Caroline's help, some fruity stuff to rehearse as they splashed, bathed or just lay fuming, immersed in a wonderful sunny Pinter wonderland.
