Giclée print: Shanghai Bank job
I had to do a number of illustrations based on old archive photographs of banks. I think the brief included the word "Warholisation', which I think meant a lot of colour and vibrancy. I'd like more briefs like that, Tom.
This is The Shanghai Bank in 1923 and in a way it's an early 'people print'. I like jobs like this; the money's good if you plan it properly – nothing can afford to go wrong. Nothing. It should be a sweet little earner and everybody's happy. Especially if you don't get caught.
Gotta go...
